ABOUT

My practice explores how identity, authorship and experience are shaped through digital culture. I am interested in the blurred boundaries between physical and online space, and how we construct, perform and distribute versions of ourselves within networked environments.

Working primarily with moving image, installation and digital processes, I use appropriation, layering and interruption to examine the systems that underpin contemporary visual culture. My work draws on found online material, fragments of sound, text and image, reconfigured into immersive and often disorientating environments.

I am particularly interested in questions of control and agency within digital space. This includes how images circulate, how authorship is destabilised, and how value is assigned to cultural production in an age of constant reproduction. Through this, my work often engages with ideas around copyright, ownership and the politics of visibility.
